Chevrolet Silverado: Child Restraints / Securing Child Restraints (In the Center Front Seat)
Warning
A child in a child restraint in the center front seat can be badly injured
or killed by the frontal airbags if they inflate. Never secure a child restraint
in the center front seat. It is always better to secure a child restraint in a rear
seat.
Do not use child restraints in the center front seat position.
Put the child restraint on the seat.
Pick up the latch plate, and run the lap and shoulder portions of the vehicle
seat belt through or around the child restraint...
This vehicle has airbags. A rear seat is a safer place to secure a forward-facing
child restraint. See Where to Put the Restraint.
In addition, the vehicle has a passenger sensing system which is designed to
turn off the front outboard passenger frontal airbag under certain conditions...

Warning
Make sure there is no one in the way of the power tailgate as it is opening
and closing, and keep hands away from the tailgate hinges when in use. You or others
could be injured if caught in the path of the power tailgate or tailgate hinges...
If equipped, LDW may help avoid crashes due to unintentional lane departures.
LDW uses a camera sensor to detect the lane markings at speeds of 56 km/h (35 mph)
or greater. It may provide an alert if the vehicle is crossing a lane without using
a turn signal in that direction...
