Chevrolet Silverado: Lighting Features / Exit Lighting
Some exterior lamps and interior lights come on at night, or in areas with limited
lighting, when the driver door is opened after the ignition is turned off. The dome
lamp comes on after the ignition is turned off.
The exterior lamps and dome lamp remain on for a set amount of time, then automatically
turn off.
The exterior lamps turn off immediately by turning the exterior lamp control
off.

If equipped, Active Fuel Management allows the gasoline engine to operate on
either all of its cylinders, or a reduced number of cylinders, depending on the
driving conditions. When less power is required, such as cruising at a constant
vehicle speed, the system will enable reduced cylinder operation, allowing the vehicle
to achieve better fuel economy...
The Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS) uses radio and sensor technology to check
tire pressure levels. The TPMS sensors monitor the air pressure in your tires and
transmit tire pressure readings to a receiver located in the vehicle.
Each tire, including the spare (if provided), should be checked monthly when
cold and inflated to the inflation pressure recommended by the vehicle manufacturer
on the vehicle placard or tire inflation pressure label...
